Let's talk about the famous confectionery nowadays which is Macarons.
A macaron is a French sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food colouring. The macaron is commonly filled with ganache, buttercream or jam filling sandwiched between two biscuits (cookies).The confection is characterised by smooth, squared top, ruffled circumference (referred to as the "foot" or "pied"), and a flat base. It is mildly moist and easily melts in the mouth -web
So we decided to try the Italian meringue method instead of French method tt we usually used. Some said tt IMM is better than SMM. But i shall say tt IMM gv us more confident(90% success) in the result.. wink emoticon After all, it depends on which method tt suits you more..
